Coagulation (flocculation) for water treatment
During a flocculation process, foreign components in the water are coagulated so that they can then be removed more easily. This is done by using appropriate chemicals, the flocculants or flocculation aids.
Flocculation is used in water treatment and wastewater technology. In our network, we offer to optimize or design existing or new systems and can also provide test systems.

Neutralization
The scope of services provided by smart5 includes, for example, the preparation of approval planning for the construction and operation of a new plant and, if requested, its delivery.

A neutralization system for treating wastewater is required in many industrial sectors and commercial enterprises, because the licensing authorities stipulate that wastewater that is discharged into public sewers or waterways must be neutralized. The pH value must be between pH 6.5 and 9. If the pH value deviates from this, microorganisms in the sewage treatment plants can be damaged or fish can even die, etc. Acidic and alkaline wastewater is created, for example, during cleaning or disinfection processes.

With the correct dosing of acids or alkalis using an automated neutralization system, wastewater neutralization is no problem. We offer both retrofit solutions and new systems on request.
